Meet the crew
Ximena Pareja, DDS
Patient Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays
I was born and raised in New York City where I attended Columbia College and Columbia School of Dental and Oral Surgery. After dental school, I came to the D.C. area to pursue two years of specialty training in the field of pediatric dentistry at Children's National Medical Center. There, I advanced my skills in children's dental care, general anesthesia, emergency dentistry, and treating children with special needs. After my training I received my pediatric dental board certification and became a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. I am currently an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry and the Maryland State Dental Association.
I opened my practice in Columbia, Maryland in 2002 with the goal of creating a dental home that could make a positive impact in the lives of children both locally and globally. I strive on a daily basis to create a great environment with a high level of service and quality of care for both patients and their parents. I have also completed several dental mission trips to help children in third world countries and hope to bring my team on a mission trip in the future.
I currently reside in Columbia with my husband Stan, my two sons Adrian and Ryan, and my dog Cassie. As a family we love to travel and enjoy learning about many different cultures. We also enjoy adventurous outdoor activities. I am fluent in Spanish.

Patient Hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays
I was born and raised in beautiful Northern California, just 30 minutes away from San Francisco. I pride myself in being an educational nomad receiving my BA at Yale University, DMD dental degree at Nova Southeastern (NSU) in South Florida, Advanced Education in General Dentistry certificate in Baltimore, and completing my specialization in pediatric dentistry at NYU-Lutheran Medical Center.
Throughout my career I have been honored with accolades including NYU-Lutheran Best Research Project in Pediatric Dentistry, the NSU Chancellor’s Scholarship, and been featured on FOX 45 Baltimore as a guest speaker for National Children’s Dental Health Month. I am currently an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Maryland State Dental Association, and an executive board member of the Southern Maryland Dental Society.
My love for pediatric dentistry comes from community service activities including Team Smile Redskins events and previously having led mission trips to Jamaica and Nicaragua, teaching dental WIC courses, and serving as Chair of NSU’s Give Kids A Smile chapter. I believe in dentistry as a public service and believe that every child should receive high-quality compassionate care.
I moved to Maryland to live with my wife, Ashley, a pediatric optometrist in Chevy Chase. When I am not busy watching over our Shiba Inu puppy, I enjoy watching movies, following the latest video games, and swimming. One interesting fact about me is that I once served as a novice Buddhist monk! I am excited to be a part of the Kids Super Smile crew and look forward to meeting you and your children.
I was born in Montana and moved to the wonderful state of Maryland, where I grew up on the eastern shore. After graduation from high school I moved to the Baltimore/ Washington area where I got my first job and fell in love with the field of dentistry. I moved to the Columbia area 16 years ago where I currently live with my husband, two children and our family dog. Both of my children graduated from Atholton High school and are currently attending college. I enjoy outdoor activities, reading and many different sports. Eighteen years later I still have the same passion and love for the field.
I believe that every day is a new opportunity to help people learn about and maintain good oral health.
I joined Kids Super Smile in May 2012. I was born and raised in West Friendship, Maryland where I attended Marriotts Ridge High School. I then attended Howard Community College before being accepted into the Dental Hygiene Program at Allegany College of Maryland. I received my Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene in the Spring of 2012.
Throughout high school and college, I worked at a pediatric dental office in Ellicott City where I gained experience in dealing with pediatric patients and their parents. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, watching movies, spending time with my friends and family and cheering for my favorite team, The Baltimore Orioles! I never miss a game!
I love making sure each child leaves the office excited and looking forward to coming back for their next dental appointment!
I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. I attended Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts for their vocal music program. I then attended the Community College of Baltimore County; and later accepted into the Dental Hygiene program. I graduated in June of 2016 with my Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, watching sports, and singing with my barbershop quartet and chorus.
I joined the Kids Super Smile team in October of 2016 and have loved every minute of it. Working with children is a strong passion of mine.
